Showing now at EVOLVE salon is mystic artist, Robin Maynard-Dobb’s “Sacred Feminine collection.” Her intent is to infuse our daily life with the sacred majesty and power of the feminine. She does through Becoming Lighter health coaching, whose mission is to inspire women to radiant health and joy that comes from connection to life force in the body.
“As a woman, you already carry the beauty and reverence of the divine. May these images reflect the luminosity of your own true nature,” Robin wrote in a description of her art.

The Artist’s Story
As a young child I learned to draw from my mother who was an artist and teacher of Sumi painting. I went on to earn degrees in both Fine art and Graphic design. While living in Paris, I discovered the technique of painting on silk. I developed my own unique style using fiber reactive dye and airbrush to create soft fluid transitions of color that are bright and luminous. I then discovered how to use silk dyes to create vibrant effects on watercolor paper.
Along with art, I am certified as a counselor and coach and founder of Becoming Lighter health coaching. For the past 33 years, I’ve been guiding women to lose weight by becoming lighter on all levels. By dropping the heavy burden of shame and guilt, I empower women to develop a joyous partnership with their bodies and thus lighten up in mind, spirit as well as body. My mission is to inspire women to radiant health and joy that comes from the connection to life force in the body.
